“Playing a musical instrument benefits the brain”
The CUAAO Smart Flute and Guitar Group was established on February 25, 2025, under the initiative of Patrick Luk (Class of 1970, CCC Music Department), with the objective of “playing a musical instrument benefits the brain”.
Patrick and Philip Chu have been researching smart instruments for a few years and they procured on their own a few models for trial. They then served as instructors while Philip Chan was appointed as the group coordinator. Regular practice sessions are held every Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
